Our engineering and design department “BUT Géologie” has carried out a technical study relating to the development, rehabilitation, and restoration of the depleted areas A, B, and C in the industrial limestone quarry located in Djebel Fériana, a delegation of Fériana- governorate of Kasserine, on behalf of the Tunisian-Algerian White Cement Company “SOTACIB-Fériana”.

This technical study is based on an examination of the current state of the quarry, including the state of the three zones A, B, and C, where exploitation has been completed, accompanied by a detailed representation of its situation, as well as the recommendations and the development and rehabilitation works to be followed and carried out by the promoter, as well as a rehabilitation schedule for 10 years.

Therefore, after the suggested timeframe of the actions to be undertaken in its redevelopment, the three areas where the reserves are depleted will be well integrated within the framework of the standards and will present specific aspects in terms of ecology and safety.
