Within the framework of geological reconnaissance and geotechnical investigation in a sand quarry located in the region of Ad Dakhla, located in the delegation of Feriana, governorate of Kasserine, the company SOTACIB Feriana entrusted with the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of sandy reserves as well as the realization of a reconnaissance campaign which included the execution of five core drillings.

- In addition, chemical analyses were carried out on a few core samples taken.
- From this geological reconnaissance accompanied by a technical assessment of the sand quarry raised, the promoter becomes able to enhance the quarry from the point of view of reserves and quality.
- The analysis of the data provided by the geological study, the cored drillings, and the correlations made in the studied site, helped us to identify the adequate exploitation zones for the promoter.
